Four Dead in Renewed Plateau State Attacks Amidst Farmer-Herder Tensions

Four individuals, comprising three farmers and one herder, have been killed in recent attacks across Barkin Ladi and Riyom Local Government Areas of Plateau State. These fatalities occurred just three days after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's visit to the state to address escalating security concerns.

Recent outbreaks of violence in Plateau State have resulted in the deaths of four people, including three farmers and a herder, across separate communities in the Barkin Ladi and Riyom Local Government Areas. The incidents mark a continuation of the long-standing farmer-herder conflict plaguing the region.

The latest attacks transpired merely three days after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu visited Plateau State. The presidential visit was prompted by a previous deadly assault on the Anguwan Rukuba community, underscoring the persistent security challenges faced by residents in the state.
